What is AC?
AutoConversion was initially conceived late in the summer of 2006 as a place where people could connect with local auto dealers in an interactive way.
At the time, blogging and social media were practically taboo subjects in the auto industry but Founder Ryan Gerardi has held on to his vision of a transformed automotive buying experience where dealers and their customers could connect with one another on a more equal playing field.
Today, Internet applications such as Twitter, Facebook, and LinkedIn, which are generally accepted by auto dealerships, offer capabilities on the Web unimaginable a generation ago, but these platforms were not designed for dealer-customer communications, rather they were designed for general use to which businesses and people adapt. Despite fervent acceptance of these tools, the online buying experience still leads to disappointing experiences for many.
AC has set out to change this. Our network of local businesses and retailers helps represent dealerships committed to participating in a strategic marketing system called the AC Insider program designed to foster trust and cultivate business through time.
AC represents a new way of thinking when it comes to fulfilling your automotive needs and interests as a shopper or a buyer; or as an agent or representative; or even as a business or product.
